I am a professional orthotics and prosthetics technician, that is to say, I make “custom” orthotics for all types of musculoskeletal problems. I used to work for Mary at Sole Control in Crestwood, MO. I have worked with many Pedorthists but none as dedicated and as thorough as Mary. She produces the highest quality of custom orthotics that I have seen,bar none. The Sole Control design orthotic seems to have the best results relieving pain and correcting a wide array of conditions, not just foot related problems, but neck and back problems corrected by proper allignment through accurately diagnosed pedorthic problems. A foot surgeon referred me to Sole Control and I am very thankful that he did. Michael L. has helped me through the process of having orthodics made for my foot condition and has been great. He takes the time to explain the procedures and what we are to learn from the from the results. When I had a question (and I had plenty), he answered in a way that I could understand. The shoe selection is very good and prices competitive. I highly recommend this busines.

I have worn corrective shoes since 1985. In KC I had my favorite store and was afraid I would never find the same personl service I had in KC. Sole Control has everyone beat – hands down! They greet me by my first name. They know which shoes to recommend for my feet. They do not hesitate to special order when they need too. I don’t know why anyone would go anywhere else! Just go over to their store – and talk to them. You don’t have to buy anything to see the difference! A VERY satisfied customer.

Mary and Mike are the orthotic specialists at Sole Control. I have used their services twice in the last 2 years and have the highest regard for their service and footwear recommendations. I have had orthotics constructed over the last 20 years around St Louis (insurance reigns). The orthotics I had received earlier in those 2 decades had not fit as well as the ones built thru SC. They were able to order my size (15) in dress and casual shoes at reasonable prices and their recommendations have been flawless.

I met with Mike about 4 weeks ago and purchased a heel lift and over-the-counter orthotics. Mike was very thorough in determining what my needs were and his solution really fit the bill. The difference in the way I feel is nothing short of remarkable. I have very little neck and hip pain now, both of which have plagued me since the late 1980’s. I have also suffered from unexplained dizziness since April 1992. The dizziness had been evaluated by numerous doctors using MRI’s, CT scans, and a really nasty test that makes one quite dizzy and ill — twice. They ruled out Meneiere’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, brain tumors, and on and on. They just couldn’t figure out what was causing the dizziness. About 8-10 days after I started wearing the heel lift and orthotics, I noticed the dizziness was completely gone! Now, I can enter a dark room without becoming disoriented and dizzy and I can look up in the sky for extended periods of time without feeling like I’m going to fall over! For the first time in years, I can almost trot down the stairs instead of walking down very gingerly, sometimes one step at a time. always afraid I will fall. I should mention I’ve also had surgeries to both my knees over the years; I also tore 2 ligaments in my left knee 2 years ago after becoming dizzy and wrenching my knee out of its socket. I could not be more pleased that I had the intuition to finally seek out the services of a pedorthist. If only I’d known 20 years ago! Thanks, Mike!

Naot Matai shoes are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. The black ones look great with everything. I like your other colors too, and am going to get several pairs in different shades – I don’t want to wear anything else! The Velcro makes them adjustable and great for air travel. I can’t tell you how many people admire these shoes too, and ask where they can get them. Thank you Naot, and please don’t ever discontinue this design!

i love these naot shoes. i got a brown pair about 3 years ago and literally wore them into the ground and finally got replacement last year. now i have 3 pairs (brown, black and red) – they are so comfortable and my orthotics fit perfectly! Gone are the days are having to wear clunky grandma shoes if you have orthotics!

I work in the film industry as a make up artist and I am on my feet for 15 hours a day. Nothing beats my Naot Kumaras!!!! I have the white ones with silver, I am hunting down a black pair! Just loved them!

I was so tired of spending lots of money for shoes that killed my feet but were supposed to be comfortable. I bought these Naots and they are perfect. I will have to think very hard before buying any other brands of shoes now.
I love these Naot boots…i’m a hairdresser and am on my feet all day …..these are the first boots in a LONG LONG time that are both really cute and really comfortable!
